Here are just some of our ongoing training programs:
NEW AGENT ORIENTATION Learn everything you need to know about Don Gurney GMAC Real Estate in this one-day session, usually held the first Monday of every month. Leaders from every department of the company give an overview of how their department works and fits into the bigger picture. Walk away with a firm grasp of our business operations to ensure your first transaction is smoothly handled.
BREAKFAST WITH DON AND AL These fun-filled, company-wide meetings occur quarterly and provide associates with an opportunity to stay current on company initiatives and industry trends. Associates receive inspirational advice from nationally-known speakers amidst a sales rally atmosphere. Expert panels offer advice on “real world” experiences in real estate. Network and get to know other Metro Brokers agents and staff.
FAST TRACK PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM Get your questions answered and the guidance you need seven days a week. Our professional broker support team guides newly licensed sales associates step-by-step through their first eight transactions, putting them on the Fast Track to success.
DON GURNEY GMAC REAL ESTATE ADVANTAGE (MBA) POSTLICENSE TRAINING MBA training focuses on improving basic marketing skills necessary to list and sell property. The course is ideal for newly licensed associates or experienced associates who are looking for a refresher course. The intensive 10-day curriculum includes insightful techniques for prospecting and referral generation. Graduates earn 25 credit hours toward post-license education requirements and receive the prestigious MBA designation.
PHD (PARTNERS HELPING DEVELOP GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICES) This action-oriented coaching and accountability program is guaranteed to take your business to the next level. Primarily designed for experienced agents, the course teaches participants how to generate new business through rigorous prospecting exercises. Participants are assigned partners and mentors. The program requires participants to meet for half-day sessions over six consecutive Fridays. Saturday classes are also available. Graduates receive the coveted PHD designation.
C.E.O. LEADERSHIP TRAINING C.E.O. Leadership Training is an intensive 3-day training program designed for experienced agents who are ready to set-up a team. Curriculum includes: lead generation, recruitment advertising, identifying your competition, presentation preparation, role playing, leadership techniques, team member retention, training your administrative staff and much more. Graduates receive the exclusive Team Leader C.E.O. certification.
NEW HOME UNIVERSITY New Home University is a series of classes that cover the essential elements of new home sales and how new home sales differ from resales. New home sales veterans cover a variety of topics including how to market new homes, how to help a builder choose floor plans and how to list a subdivision. Graduates get to use the New Home University designation when marketing themselves to potential builder clients.
IN-OFFICE TRAINING SEMINARS In-office training seminars are held on a periodic basis and cover a variety of topics. Branch offices are equipped with the most advanced computer technology available and provide a convenient location for associates to learn more about how to access research material, utilize computer software, or use MyDot.com, the company’s intranet system.
ELEGANT HOMES Elegant Homes is designed for experienced agents who are interested in selling luxury homes. The course teaches agents how to qualify a home as an Elegant Home and how to use Don Gurney GMAC Real Estate's unique national marketing programs to reach the types of buyers who can purchase these homes.
ABR & ASR (Accredited Buyer Rep. and Accredited Seller Rep.) These nationally recognized and prestigious programs are taught in-house by our own certified instructors. Open to agents meeting the experience prerequisites, each class consists of a 2-day curriculum designed to fine-tune the agent's ability to communicate with and offer top-level service to buyer and seller clients. The training meshes top producer tips with delivery of Premier Service. Receiving the ABR and ASR designations places an agent in the very top tier of agents nationally.
